So it means there is or there will never be a Kurori standing independent without a partner. These partners are the Kaito; perhaps a human they captured and cursed, or befriended but converted using a curse, so on and so forth. So how will you get them? Simple. For example, your character is a Kurori, and you are looking for a Kaito to pair up with you. You have options: (1) Post in the wanted ad, maybe someone would be interested; (2) Post in a separate attention thread that will be provided by the staff of those who does not have a pair yet; or (3) Make a Kaito. But that will make you hold two characters already. If you cannot find a Kaito/Kurori to pair with, then you will receive a notice from any of the staff and we will be the one who will assign to you the Kurori/Kaito that you will handle. That is the Kaito's job. In fact, it is extremely hard for Kurori to steal souls from other being due to the fact that the species is better dealing in spells and magic. Also, Kurori do not need souls to survive. It doesn't keep them young or anything else like that. It is mostly for sport. What it is, is when a Kaito gives his master a soul, it powers them up. Imagine a Kurori having the ability to cast a spell to put up a barrier around his entire kingdom. With the soul.. he could put it around his kingdom plus two neighboring kingdoms. For instance, in relation to the U.S.A. Say originally it covered only Texas, with the soul, the Kurori, could cover the entire West side of the U.S.A. It is that powerful. This is why Kurori want souls so much, because it gives them such a power boost, and Kurori love power. [/classy][/classy] [classy=etc] (the soul)[/classy] [/style]

And that is that this is a big NO NO. In the Kurori world, loving something like a Kaito, which is considered a slave, is as worse as killing another Kurori. It is extremely discouraged. Now, like I stated in my question thread. This relation does happen and QUITE often. It is in your best interest however, to NOT let it be found out. If any Kurori was found of loving a Kaito, that Kaito no matter what rank the Kurori is, would be put to death instantly. In some previous cases, the love was so deep that the Kurori elders sentenced the Kaito's own master to destroy them. Along with the death of the Kaito, the Kurori would be stripped of their rank and would have no chance of regaining such. They would be seen as an outcast and would never be able to really show their face again.[/classy][/classy] [classy=etc] (forbidden love)[/classy] [/style]

It is just something you do not do. There are no fights for power within the Kurori world. You are simply born to a powerful family or you aren't. It is as simple as that. Even so, Kurori are highly respected no matter what their status. Due to most of the creatures living in their homes being Kaito, the Kaito are expected to show respect to any Kurori they see. As a rule they are to bow their heads as any approaches. If it is a high status Kurori, they are required to be at least on their knees in front of one. In several situations, Kaito have even been told to bow before elders and not to lift their heads or eyes from the ground. ◎ Kaito In the Kurori world you never EVER attack another Kurori's Kaito. By doing so, you are attacking the Kurori themselves. Their Kaito, is a part of them, due to the curse placed on the Kaito. Even if the Kaito was the first offender in a argument, never strike one, or attack one. By doing so, you put all blame upon yourself no matter the circumstance. The Kurori who had their Kaito attacked will have the choice of what your punishment would be. Most of the time, the Kurori will usually target the Kaito of the offender, doing such things as lashes, and other such cruelties. The highest punishment given to date, is the offended Kurori will kill the offenders Kaito in front of them, and the Kurori will not be able to do anything. As the pair stay together, a more close knit bond grows between the two. In some cases, a bound was so strong a Kaito and Kurori could communicate with each other through telepathic thoughts only. The longer the two are together, the more the bond grows. ◎Death When a Kaito dies, it leaves a rather huge mark on a Kurori. Depending on how long the Kaito was paired with the Kurori also makes a difference in affects. Where a Kurori who just got their Kaito maybe 4 months to 2 years tops, will only feel a slight headache like feeling, a Kurori who has had their Kaito for much longer will have a bigger impact. Some of the most common symptoms of the death is unbearable pain. Most of the time, a Kurori will feel the death of his Kaito as it is dying. Being able to tell exactly how it was killed. Sometimes Kurori will become disoriented and will lose lack of speech or any of the common things they would normally do. While some, may even lose their powers for a month or so depending on how long they were bonded.
